Overview

A quick figure-eight loop skirting along Colter Bay and Jackson Lake. The teton views from across Jackson Lake are unrivaled, especially Mount Moran (12,605').

Description

Starting from the Colter Bay area, the Lakeshore Trail begins as a service road and eventually turns into singletrack. Run along the singletrack as it crosses as small connection bridge between mainland and small island.

The Lakeshore Trail then circles its way around the island and provides multiple beaches where you can enjoy views and the crystal clear waters of Jackson Lake. Cross the bridge again and this time head north on the trail you didn't use before.
