The trail continues to climb the hillside.
The Sunset Trail winds through the preserve as fields of wildflowers can be seen on either side. The gentle climb on the Ridgeview Trail offers great views.
The trail enters a corridor of small shrubs and trees that block the views, but provide adequate shade at various times in the day.

Hikers can be seen on the Ridgeview Trail, which runs parallel to the Sunset Trail on the hillside above.
